PWR-X-CAN-Bx is a CAN Bus to Wi-Fi converter.
It is a plug-and-play Wi-Fi boxed module. PWR-X-CAN-Bx is a client / server type Wi-Fi module: this means that it is able to autonomously connect to a server, also public, and communicate with it.
All data read from CAN Bus network will be available on Wi-Fi in a open format XML or CSV, for a better integration into customer own software like mobile and web applications.PWR-X-CAN-Bx can be used as CAN Analyzer on Wi-Fi.
In other words Wiicom brings CAN Bus on Wi Fi in a easy, secure and immediate way.In order to enable communications V2X, PWR-X-CAN-CS supports both connection-type ad-hoc and infrastructure. The first is highly suited to applications Vehicle to Vehicle (V2V) or Vehicle to Mobile (V2M), while the second is able to manage communications Vehicle-to-Infrastructure (V2I).Like other Compact modules it permits ad hoc mode and infrastructure operation mode.
TRANSCEIVER AND POWER SUPPLY
Wiicom supplies a solution for the transceiver needs that combines powering and interfacing. PWR-X-CAN-Bx is equipped with a CAN transceiver to communicate with the host.
In addition it can ben supplied with a voltage between 7 and 28VDC, for an industrial and automotive use.
CLOUD READY
NO SOFTWARE NEEDED
The PWR-X-CAN-Bx modules are immediately ready to be used. Thanks to Wiicom configurator software, available on wiicom website, user can define all Wi-Fi network settings.
There’s no need to develope or modify any software on the host board.
ALSO WITH DB9 CONNECTOR
The PWR-X-CAN-B9 is the boxed module for CAN with a DB9 male connector.
DB9 cables for connection and power for Wiicom boxed modules are available.
They are suitable for connecting Wiicom DB9 boxed modules to user’s devices.
